School Calling Tree Changes
Overview
This process is used when a school needs to update/change their school calling tree.
1. Listen to the current message and note any changes that need made.
2. Record the new message by calling and leaving yourself a voicemail. This voicemail should come across as a .wav file in your email Inbox.
3. After confirming the message recorded successfully, submit a Freshservice ticket and choose Request Type: Request Phone Repair. Attach the .wav file to the ticket.
- If the calling tree also has changes to the extensions (for example, press "1" currently routes to 3-1234 and it should now route to extension 3-1235), those changes should also be made known in the ticket.
Note: NEC (vendor) does not change the school calling trees for Spring Break or Winter Break. Calling trees are ONLY changed for Summer Break and then are changed again when the school staff return from Summer Break.
