Personal Device Certificates
Overview
To select and install the certificate for the best performance on the district's Wi-Fi while on your personal device.
Securly
Please visit https://www.securly.com/ssl to select and install the certificate for the best performance on the district's wifi while on your personal device.
Android
You will need to install the Securly SSL certificate on your device to ensure that Securly is able to filter all HTTPS sites browsed there effectively. The installation steps might differ depending upon the manufacturer and OS of your device. This article provides a couple of different ways in which you install the Securly SSL certificate.
Pixel and OnePlus device
1. Download the Securly SSL certificate file securly_ca_2034.crt on your Android device.
2. Now navigate to Network and internet > Wi-Fi > Wi-Fi preferences and tap Advanced to get the "Install certificates" option.
3. Select the file you downloaded in Step 1.
4. On the "Name the certificate" screen gives the certificate a name and press the OK button.
5. You can verify that the certificate is installed by going to Settings->Security->Trusted Credentials->User
Samsung M32 version 11
1. Download the certificate.
2. Tap Settings –> Biometrics and Security –> Other Security Settings
3. Tap on Install Device Storage
4. Tap on CA Certificate
5. Tap Install Anyway

Note to automatically install the certificate your Android device will need to have a PIN set.
- To set your PIN go to Settings->Security->Screen Lock
iOS
It is important to mention that accessing and downloading this cert from any other browser other than Safari will result in an error. Using Safari when downloading and installing the cert will create installation prompts for the certificate.
To install the Securly SSL certificate:
1. Navigate to securly.com/ssl and download the certificate by clicking "Download the certificate".
2. Open your Settings app and navigate to General > VPN & Device Management
3. Tap the securly.com profile that you downloaded in step 1.
4. Tap the Install button in the top right hand corner.
5. Tap Install once again in the pop-up.
6. You Securly SSL certificate should now be fully installed.
7. Next, you would need to trust the certificate by navigating to Settings > General > About > Certificate Trust Settings and toggling the switch to enable the securly.com certificate.
8. The Securly SSL certificate will now be fully trusted.
- You can view the certificate under General > VPN & Device Management as a Configuration Profile.
