Accessing Emergency Contacts | Beginning of Year

This guide explains how administrators can access emergency contacts.
Staff Emergency Contacts – It’s crucial to have up-to-date emergency contact information for all employees. Click here for instructions on how employees can update their emergency contact details. Below is a guidance for school administrators on how to access emergency contacts for their staff.
Building access for all school-based staff will be automatically activated on July 15th. The default access schedule will be from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Monday through Friday. If staff require building access before July 15th, or need unrestricted (24/7/365) or weekend access, you can grant this through the dashboard by selecting the "Building Access" function.
3 Ways to access Emergency Contacts via Peoplesoft:
Option 1:
- On Manager Self Service page, select WPS Directory Update.

- Search for the user and select the Emergency Contact tab

Option 2:
- On the Workforce Management Dashboard - select "Online Directory". Click "Refresh Personnel List".
Click “Edit” next to the employee.

Click the tab "Emergency Contacts".

3rd option
Run a report to list all staff and emergency contacts. On Manager Self Service page, select
"Reports", at the bottom is "WPS Directory Reports".


Use whatever you want for a Control ID (I use my initials).
*If you haven’t ran a report before, make sure you “Add a New Value” when creating a Run Control ID.

Update the As of Date. Click “Run”.

When running, you need to check the box to run the report "WPS Phone Directory - Managers".
Then click “OK”.

You will receive an email from PeopleSoft, that has the phone directory attached.
