Allow Pop-Ups on Web Browser | Network and Internet Issues
Overview
Pop-ups are small windows or tabs that automatically open on top of a website you're visiting. By default, most browsers (like Chrome, Edge, Safari, etc.) block pop-ups because they are often misused for ads, spam or malicious content.
Allowing pop-ups means you're giving certain websites permission to open these windows.
Edge
Open Microsoft Edge.
Click the three dots (⋯) in the top-right corner and select Settings.
Go to Cookies and site permissions (left-hand menu).
Scroll down and click on Pop-ups and redirects.
-
Toggle the switch to Off (it should say “Block” – turn that off to allow pop-ups).
🔓 If you want to allow pop-ups just for specific sites, you can add them under the “Allow” section.
Chrome
Open Chrome.
Click the three dots (⋮) in the top-right corner.
Go to Settings.
Scroll down and click on Privacy and security.
Click Site Settings.
Under Content, click Pop-ups and redirects.
Toggle the setting to Allowed or add specific sites to the "Allowed to send pop-ups and use redirects" section.
