Network Connection is Slow on Wi-Fi | Wi-Fi Network
Overview
Follow these troubleshooting steps if the Wi-Fi connection is slow.
Windows Devices
Step 1: Disconnect and Reconnect to the Wi-Fi
- Select the Network icon on the taskbar.
- Click the Wi-Fi network icon to disconnect.
- Click the Wi-Fi network icon to reconnect.
- Confirm the computer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network.
- If the issue persists, proceed to Step 2.
Step 2: Set Windows on Airplane Mode
- Select the Network icon on the taskbar.
- Click the airplane button to turn on Airplane Mode.
- Click the airplane button to turn off Airplane Mode.
- Confirm the computer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network.
- If the issue persists, proceed to Step 3.
Step 3: Restart Windows
- Click the Windows Start button.
- Click the Power button.
- Click Restart.
iPads VILS
- Open Control Center from the Home Screen.
- Tap the Airplane Mode button.
- Tap the Airplane Mode button again.
- Confirm the Wi-fi button is blue.
