Troubleshooting steps for Wi-Fi connection issues on an iPad.
Step 1: Enable Wi-Fi
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Wifi.
- Toggle on.
Step 2: Check for Wi-Fi Network Issues
- If the iPad detects an issue with the Wi-Fi connection, you might see a Wi-Fi recommendation under the name of the Wi-Fi network you are trying to connect to. To get more information, tap the Wi-Fi network.
Step 3: Restart
- Press and hold the top button and the Home button.
- When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
Step 4: Reset Network Settings
- Tap Settings.
- Tap General.
- Tap Reset.
- Tap Reset Network Settings.
- Enter your iPhone passcode.
- Tap Reset Network Settings when the confirmation pop-up appears near the bottom of your iPhone's display.
