T-Mobile Hotspot | Connecting to a Wi-Fi enabled device

Overview

Steps to connect a device to a Franklin T-9 and Alcatel Linkzone 2 Hotspot.

**Before a Hotspot can be used, the school's STS must submit a ticket for activation in Freshservice.**

Franklin T-9

Turn on your Hotspot and your Wi-Fi enabled device.
Open the Wi-Fi application or controls on the computer or Wi-Fi enabled device that you want to connect to your Hotspot.
Find your Hotspot's Wi-Fi name (SSID) and enter your password to connect to the internet.

Note: Your Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password appear on the Hotspot LCD display.

Alcatel Linkzone 2

Power on your mobile Hotspot.
On your computer or other Wi-Fi enabled device, search for available Wi-Fi networks and select network name (SSID) located on the label underneath the mobile hotspot battery. Note: Wi-Fi name (SSID) and Wi-Fi password is located on the label underneath the mobile hotspot battery.
Enter password located on the label underneath the mobile Hotspot battery and click OK.

From a Windows PC: Left-click Wireless Network Connection on the task bar to view available networks. Choose the SSID from the list of available networks.
From an IOS device: Settings > Wi-Fi settings. Choose the SSID from the list of available networks.
