Overview
Please follow these steps if the printer fails to print or needs to be updated in the application.
Changing the printer in the application
- Open Tracks.
- Go to Management -- Customize -- Workstation Settings.

Choose the Hardware tab.

You will see a Warning message that says "The Report Printer (xxxxxxxx) is no longer available. You will need to enter a valid Report Printer or define this printer."
- Click OK on the message and then choose the correct printer from the dropdown box.
Receipt Printer is not printing
- Restart the computer.
- Restart the printer by unplugging it from the power source.

Remove and reinstall the printer. See Install a Receipt Printer on the PC/Laptop.
Install a Receipt Printer on the PC/Laptop
The receipt printer for Tracks is a Citizen IDP 3550 model.
- Go to Devices and Printers and delete the existing Receipt Printer.
- Select Add a Printer.
- Add a local printer.

Choose the appropriate port under "Use an existing port".
- If it is a USB port, generally the printer is connected to the highest numbered port in the dropdown list.
- Click Next.
- Choose Generic for the Manufacturer and Generic/Text Only for the Printer and click Next.
- Name the printer Receipt Printer and click Next.
- Choose Do Not Share Printer and click Next.
- Leave the Set as the default printer box UNCHECKED.
- Click Finish.
