Student Passwords

This article covers student passwords for the beginning of the year.

Beginning of Year Student Passwords

Returning students will not have their password reset. The student will continue to use their password from May. If a secondary student can't remember their password, an STS or other designated staff member can reset the password. If the STS or other designated staff are not available, students can call the Help Desk to have it reset. Students going from 5th to 6th grade will have their password reset to the default password of St + 6 digit birthday (mmddyy). i.e. St031705.

New students to the district will be set as follows:

New to the district Early Start through 5th grade

Username: studentID@usd259.net
Password: 4 digit birthday (mmdd) i.e. 0317
**They will NOT be prompted to reset their password.**

ALL 6th graders and New to district 6th grade through 12th grade:

Username: studentID@usd259.net
Password: St + 6 digit birthday (mmddyy) i.e. St031705
Once the student has logged in, they will be prompted to reset their password.
