Setting up Voicemail | ESI Tech Phones

Objective: Voicemail for the ESI Tech phones is set up through Microsoft Teams. To ensure you don’t miss important messages, take a moment to set up your voicemail in Microsoft Teams with a custom message.

✅ Before You Begin

Log into your Microsoft Teams account
Ensure Teams is open on your device (You will not need teams open to receive voicemail)

🧑‍🏫 To Set Up Voicemail

Open Microsoft Teams
Click your profile picture and select Settings

In the left menu, click Calls

Scroll down to Manage voicemail. You can either record a voicemail greeting or set up the text-to-speech greeting option.

Once your greeting is set, you can exit out of Teams.

Voicemails can be retrieved in Outlook, Teams or on the physical phone.

📞 Test Your Setup

After setting up a voicemail greeting:

Have a colleague call your number to confirm your voicemail is set up correctly.
If it does not pick up the voicemail, restart Teams and check the Calls settings again.
